EUCLID NEIGHBORS IN ACTION
Neighbor Night Gatherings
Neighbor Nights are a different kind of community gathering. Like any friendly get-together, we start by sharing a meal (home-cooked, whenever possible). Then, we quickly check in with “good and new” updates. Then, everyone helps set an agenda through the “Business of the Network.” This process helps us decide on several topics for small-group conversations based on questions someone from the group wants to explore. It's a time to ask for the wisdom of your neighbors and to find out who shares your interests and concerns. During our initial meeting, groups discussed “How do we talk about race in Euclid?” and “How do we keep kids safe?”
Once the Business of the Network is complete, we finish with a practice called The Marketplace. Everyone can share what they need, what they have to offer, or how they plan to become engaged or think differently based on the evening’s conversations.
Starting in January 2025, each month's second Neighbor Night gathering (the fourth Tuesday) focuses on education and action.
You can participate as much or as little as you like, but there’s a good chance you’ll leave Neighbor Night feeling hopeful, inspired, and energized.
