The last “Homeless Point-In-Time and Count” occurred January 2017 in Oakland. The findings were roughly 1900 persons were unsheltered (though some estimates place the number closer to 9,000). According to the data, 76% were single adults and 3% were families. 15% were unaccompanied children with 82% of them being unsheltered. In response to this disparity, we pledge our ongoing commitment to outreach services.
